Overview

Vancouver Community College (VCC) has been serving its community for more than 40 years with quality programs that meet the needs of students and industry. VCC serves 25,000 students annually helping them improve their lives, job opportunities and career prospects.
VCC has two campuses with their own specialized programs:
The Downtown campus specializes in preparing students to enter or upgrade careers in culinary arts and baking, hospitality management, health sciences and services, design and teaching English as a second language. It also offers a broad range of part-time career programming.
The Broadway campus specializes in music, ESL education, university transfer courses, adult upgrading, programs for students with disabilities, sign language studies, automotive trades and a number of other career training programs.
FACILITY/SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Both campuses are easy accessible by Skytrain. The Downtown campus has extensive food services, including an Asian foods counter, staffed by VCC Asian Culinary Arts students. Broadway campus is home to the McGregor Childcare Center and is currently expanding with the addition of a new health sciences building featuring state-of-the-art training labs, simulated wards and pharmacies.
General Admission Requirements (All Students)
English Language Requirement - Applicants must have proficiency in English at a level suitable for their desired program.
BC Secondary School (or equivalent)
You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program before your name is added to a waitlist or registered in a program.

Out-of-Province
You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program before your name is added to a waitlist or registered in a program.

BC Transfer Student
If you have prior post-secondary education that you want to transfer to VCC you must make a formal request through the Registrar's Office by completing an Approval for Transfer Credit form and attaching all required documents. For more information call 604.443.8411.
Out-of-Province Transfer Student

Mature Student
You must be at least 18 years old (unless you have graduated from Secondary School) to meet the general admission requirement for VCC. In addition, specific program admission requirements must also be met.
