Create a Post-secondary Budget
myEdPlanner's Budget Plan tools will help you to understand your resources and expenses, explore financial aide options, and prepare a budget that will allow you to complete your education program without financial crises.
Different post-secondary institutions and programs present different financial challenges, so myEdPlanner offers program-specific budget planning that enables you to calculate your expenses and resources as part of an overall education strategy.
EducationPlanner includes the tuition fees, and book and supply costs for each program. Enter these and also your estimated transportation and living costs in the Expenses form. Use the Resources and Income form to identify how well you are able to meet these expenses.
Once your financial plan is complete, you can continue to use myEdPlanner Budget Plan to track your progress throughout your program.
Create a Transfer Plan
Thousands of students transfer each year between post-secondary institutions in BC. BC's Transfer System allows students to use the BC Transfer Guide to see how much transfer credit they will receive before they transfer. This allows students to properly plan their course registrations to make sure they will receive the right type of transfer credit to complete their academic goals
myEdPlanner allows users to save searches from the BC Transfer Guide to help create a transfer plan. When using the BC Transfer Guide, you can save course searches by sending institution, by receiving institution, or by course load. Students can print their search results and verify them with a counselor to make sure they are on the right track.
