Since 1971 Camosun College has served the educational needs of the residents of the greater Victoria area. The college continues to serve an expanding community through its Lansdowne and Interurban campuses. Students may select from a wide range of university transfer, career, technical, vocational and college preparatory programs.

FACILITY/SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: Both campuses house childcare centres and a variety of fitness, martial arts and drop-in recreational activities. As well, each campus has a student employment centre that assists students in finding full-time, part-time, seasonal and casual employment.

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

English Language Requirement: You must have proficiency in English at a level suitable for your desired program.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)

If you are a secondary school graduate you are eligible for general admission to Camosun. You must also meet the specific admission requirements of your intended program. (These admission requirements are detailed within the program listings for Camosun within Education Planner.)

BC Transfer Student

If you possess Grade 12 graduation from any recognized institution you are eligible for general admission to Camosun. You must also meet specific admission requirements for your intended program. (These admission requirements are detailed in the program listings for Camosun in Education Planner.)

If you have completed post-secondary studies at another institution and wish to gain transfer credit* please scroll down to the "Assessment of Transfer Credit" heading within the Admission & Registration Policies and Procedures web page.

Footnote (*): Transfer credit is defined as academic work that is completed at another institution that is formally recognized as being equivalent to a Camosun course.
