Kwantlen Polytechnic University
Overview

Kwantlen Polytechnic University serves the southern Fraser Valley (Delta, Langley, Richmond, Surrey and White Rock) with campuses in Surrey, Richmond and Langley. Kwantlen offers a broad range of programs in the areas of trades, technology, university studies, career, vocational, adult basic and special education. Two-thirds of Kwantlen's programs may lead to bachelor's degrees.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)
To qualify for admission to Kwantlen you must meet the General University Admission Requirements and the specific admission requirements of your intended program.There are two steps that you must meet for the general university admission requirements. Step 1 is the English Proficiency requirement. Step 2 is meeting the requirements of a specific admissions category at Kwantlen. As a BC Secondary School graduate you meet the requirements of Step 2 through the Regular Admission category.

Out-of-Province
To qualify for admission to Kwantlen you must meet the General University Admission Requirements and the specific admission requirements of your intended program.
There are two steps that you must meet for the general university admission requirements. Step 1 is the English Proficiency requirement. Step 2 is meeting the requirements of a specific admissions category at Kwantlen. As a Secondary School graduate you meet the requirements of Step 2 through the Regular Admission category.

BC Transfer Student
If you have completed courses at another post-secondary institution you may request that these credits be transferred to Kwantlen. Only where Kwantlen offers an equivalent course to the sending institution will transfer credit be granted. An official transcript from each institution at which the courses were taken must be sent directly to Kwantlen from the institution attended. Students are also required to submit a Request for Transfer Credit form. For more information about Transfer Credit, refer to www.kwantlen.ca/transfercredit
You must also qualify for entry to Kwantlen through one of the admission categories outlined for the university (detailed in Step 2 of the web page).

Mature Student
If you are not a secondary school graduate (or equivalent) but will be at least 19 years old on the first day of classes you are eligible to attend Kwantlen. You will also need to meet the English Proficiency Requirements of the university.
International Student
Kwantlen accepts applications from international students who meet the Admission Requirements" href="http://www.kwantlen.bc.ca/calendar/generalinfo/admission/admission_requirements.html" target="_blank">General University Admission Requirements and who are able to undertake studies in the English language. All international undergraduate applicants are required to demonstrate English language proficiency prior to admission to Kwantlen.
